Borussia Dortmund now accept that the player will leave but want as much money as possible for the player
According to Sport, Barcelona and Dortmund have agreed on a €100 million fee (£91 million) up front for the Frenchman.
Dortmund appear to have accepted the offer €100 million up-front from the Catalans and are now negotiating the add-ons.
“Dortmund want an additional €30 million (£27 million) based on the player’s performance and Barca’s success (games, goals, titles),” it is reported. “Barca think this figure is too high and want to reduce it or reduce the up-front fee. Either way, the signing of Dembele is moving ever closer.”
Dembele is trying to force a move, having been suspended for missing training without explanation, but both he and Barca have been warned that the clock is ticking towards the summer deadline.
Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke told Kicker: “The time on the horizon is enough for two more games.”
The current transfer window closes on August 31 and Dortmund have two more fixtures to take in before that, against Wolfsburg and Hertha Berlin.
